Using his background of more than 40 years of broadcasting, Kevin Frankish has become a very active mental health advocate. In 2006, Kevin was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder which he is very public about hoping to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Through his podcast, The Happy Molecule, live stream shows, blog and public speaking, Kevin believes better mental health can be achieved through good information, practical advice and, most of all, positivity. He lives in Toronto and is the father of 4 grown children. He is the recipient of hundreds of awards including The Queen’s Jubilee Medal and works with many charities including Easter Seals, The Canadian Cancer Society and The Canadian Hospitality Foundation of which Kevin has a scholarship named for him.
