Toronto, ON – The Ontario Association of Parents in Catholic Education (OAPCE) is pleased to announce that an election was held on January 19, 2018, and the Board of Directors has elected Annalisa Crudo-Perri as the new OAPCE President and Chair. Annalisa previously served as OAPCE’s Vice President and along with serving as the President for OAPCE Toronto, Annalisa has volunteered and committed her time to the community for over 15 years. “OAPCE is very fortunate to have Annalisa, as we are certain that her experience, enthusiasm and determination will serve OAPCE well,” noted Lisa Cuypers, who has worked closely with the OAPCE Executive team and served the Board for many years.
Linda Gregorio (Waterloo), will serve as Vice President, Linda Dodson Trchala (Durham), as the Secretary, and Chuck Farmer (Dufferin Peel), as the Treasurer. Each of the Executive bring deep community knowledge, a passion for enhancing publicly funded Catholic education and the desire to envision an ambitious future for OAPCE to meet the growing needs of the Catholic community.
Current Board Regional Directors are: Mary Giardina (York) Mariana Kutin Morais (Dufferin Peel), Tony Lorini (York), Sandra Mastronardi (Toronto), Stéphane Rouleau (Brant Haldimand Norfolk), Jana Seymour (Toronto), Denice Teti (Halton), and Chris Wright (Algonquin & Lakeshore). Bishop Dabrowski (London) also sits on the Board as the Liaison Bishop assigned by the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario (ACBO).
The Board provides leadership for carrying out OAPCE’s mission to promote publicly funded Catholic education, and is committed to ensure the parent voice is strong across the province, with great collaboration from our partners and valuable parent groups.
